“Hey do you remember our first date love?”

 

“Ah yes! I grin like a child whenever I think of

How you confronted me leaving me flustered

At the audacious way you coyly whispered

If I would like to go on a romantic adventure

Enamored by you I shouted ‘With pleasure!’”

 

“That night was so scuffed and full of disaster

How did it turn out to be the best day ever?

I always hark back to your sweet blushing face

Smiling skittishly and trying to keep up with my pace

Our hands intertwined slowly as you walked me home

And I felt like a blessed character in a beautiful poem

We halt, standing inches apart as you bid good bye”

 

“And we shared a passionate kiss under the night sky

Far from an ideal date yet so close to the heart

And now i cannot fathom us ever being apart"

SEASONS OF LIFE

The vernal season approaches Bearing new lives, In spring, a flower blooms  And an infant thrives. It lives its life with  Such hope and ambition, So eager to grow up  And then the seasons turn. Adulthood ensues with  A burning passion to conquer, Heat waves of struggle  Announce the arrival of summer. Endless avenues to explore  And chances to be taken but, The prime of life is lost  In search of warmth and comfort. Blissful rain then soothes  The shame of failures and sin Of youth as the monsoon  Washes away the fire within. Livelihood now sound and secure,  Much like personal life, Outside of the occasional rainstorm  Of midlife strife. Once again the biome goes dormant,  Foreboding the end, When comes forth autumn  Which commences the ascend.
